Cyan

Cyan is an evolutionary veteran of the harddance and hardhouse world, developing along with the genre making him a driving force behind the wheels of steel.

Back in 1996 Cyan was pulled in to the vortex of hard dance and emerged a DJ who set the dance floor on fire. He started out playing nrg trance & hard house in New Zealand, making him a respected and recognized name in the dance scene. Twelve months after getting into the scene Cyan set the dance floor wild with an absolutely rocking set in the hardcore tent at The Gathering in 97/98 thanks to some exposure from hosting on RDU radio station. This set his desire to show the world that he had the skills and the power to move people. Since the start of Cyans affair with hard dance he has sent people running for the dance floor at every Gathering since the first.

Since his rise to fame in 1996 Cyan has masterfully played some of the Southern Hemispheres biggest events such as:

Cyan sets the scene with an arsenal of tunes that are guaranteed to make the dance floor move with his powerful mix of NRG sounds.



Cyan has torn up dance floors around New Zealand and Australia playing to massive crowds and showing them that hardhouse and high NRG isn�t about nails, its about being able to move, to motivate and have an absolute blinder of a time.

Recently Cyan has played an absolutely epic set at Slinky world wide 2006 with UK trance legend Scott Bond. Also more recently UK hardhouse superstar Paul Glazby in Christchurch, showing New Zealand that he is a powerhouse and a rising star in the dance arena.

He has shown that he can play with the best of them from day one. Cyan has demonstrated to the world that he has the skill and creativity when it comes to hard house and NRG; to make people reach for the lasers and move to the delectable sounds he produces on his weapons of choice - 100% vinyl and the almighty Technics 1200's.

Cyan is departing New Zealand's shores at the of the year to spread the word of hardhouse with a global adventure that will span Canada and Europe. His aim is to fire up the dance floors at some of biggest event names in the harddance genre.
