From regular party go-er turn Promoter/Organiser/DJ/Radio show host, Cyberwlf has been listening to electronic music since the late 80s.
When starting out he was exposed to some of the freshest sounds out of Europe via music downloaded to his computer through scene demos and music modules, and then later on discovering the parties the music was played at. All along he maintained a primary focus of the music as being his key interest. As his interest in persuing new forms of interesting and innovative electronic music continued he made the natural progression when he stumbled across Psychedelic Trance and instantly fell in love with its' sound.
By 2001, this interest morphed into motivating him to bring together all the elements of the events he enjoyed so much in combination with some of the most talented local, interstate, and overseas producers and djs around to bring together a whole host of his own very successful events, both indoors and outdoors, in Sydney Australia.
As well as getting into event production, 2001 marked the beginning of a Psychedelic Trance show named 'PsyKe Out' he established on the popular Internet-based dance music radio station PulseRadio.net, a station with a dominant position in providing dance music to people around the globe via the Internet. In that time he used and continues to use the experience to gain an appreciation of proper set arrangements and good track selection whilst working on his other DJ'ing skills, all along utilising the regular feedback to gain a feel of how the listeners reacts to what is being played.
Looking to persue new goals and take his always present love of the music to a new level, he found himself a niche within the Psychedelic Trance genre, with a style of twisted yet innovative psychedelic music which he felt had not been given proper exposure in his own local scene and wished to finally make the transition from playing the weekly spot on his radio show to playing out at parties as well.
In 2001 he commenced his PsyTrance Internet radio show PsyKe Out which he played on weekly, but it wasnt till 2004 when he launched his DJ career into the limelight. Since then he has played both indoor and outdoor events, at times playing at some of the largest parties/festivals in those regions. In that time he has played in countries ranging from England, Wales, France, Italy, Czech Republic, New Caledonia, to up and down the eastern coast of Australia many times, including the likes of Melbourne, Cairns, Byron Bay, Sydney, and Newcastle. In 2009 he recently played at one of Australia's largest festivals and its largest NYE event, Tribeadelic Gathering NYE.
He has organised and promoted both indoor and outdoor Psychedelic Trance parties since 2001. Since 2003 he organised parties which maintained a focus on hard and dark psychedelic music, with events featuring the likes of Neuromotor, Hyper Frequencies, Illusion of Self, Gappeq, Pondscum, Legohead, and many more. He also is now a reviewer of dark psychedelic trance releases for the UK-based print publication, Revolve magazine.
Since returning home to Australia at the end of November 2008 where he will be till he returns back to the northern hemisphere again mid February 2009 he has already played almost weekly at various gigs in New South Wales and Victoria including Australia's largest outdoor NYE festival, Tribeadelic Gathering.
He has played alongside the likes of artists including Hallucinogen, Shpongle, Kindzadza, Naked Tourist, Scorb, Rinkadink, Talpa, Gappeq, Multi Evil, Hefty Output, Artax, Dark Nebula, Freq, Sensient, Crazy Duck, Loopus In Fabula, CPU, Visual Paradox, John Phantasm, Reality Grid, Paul Taylor, Reality Pixie, Terrafractyl, Psyboriginal, Psy Cut Fingers, Noise Colour, Hired Goonz, Siaqua, Decoy, Mantrix, Insane Creation, Mood Deluxe, Sinewave, M-Theory, Hoodwink and many others.
