Hi, I'm new to these forums. would anyone would be kind enough to download a track i'm making and give me some constructive feedback. I've given you the track in full. This is the first track i've let people hear so please don't be too harsh. But any tips and pointers would really help me out.

thanks for your time

Easy mate, had a listen to your track, its not my usuall sort of thing so ill try to give advice on what i think could make the tune better as best i can... Firstly the mixdown isnt too bad, its quite clear and the levels are pretty good, i do however think alot of the main sounds need compression and also the tune sounds quite narrow at the moment so maybe play about with the panning and add some width on some of the sounds with Waves stereo imager or similar... The police siren sound is a big no no for me, i think it doesnt suit the track and its a very obvious sample, i think alot of what is lacking in the tune is down to the arrangement, it seems to me to just plod along and the new sounds that come in every so often dont ever continue or evolve any theme or gel with the other sounds... Overall the production isnt bad quality but it lacks anything that really grabs me and makes me want to carry on listening to it... Try and build the excitement up with more sweeps and FX, and try different things with the riffs as i dont think that they are very creative... Hope that helps mate thumbsup

Fantastic, thanks for taking the time. It's a great help thumbsup I toatally agree with all you have said, especially regarding the width of the track. I'll have a play about with the logic stereo spreader as i don't have any waves plugins.

Once again thanks for the advice thumbsup
