We've built a new, free mix hosting site!

Hello

After struggling to find a decent mix hosting site we (the good people of sunsoundlive) built one ourselves.. mixeeba.

Good, timeless mixes deserve a better home than places like sendspace etc. Obviously as DJs ourselves we're offering a service geared towards djs.. bigger filesize (250MB), an unlimited hosting period, store tracklists, comments, feedback etc.. and anything else you can think of.

So we're looking for guinea pigs; if you'd like a place to host your mix, go ahead >

It's all free.. All we ask is you provide us some feedback with your experience

ive just tried using this but it wont work - keeps saying oops something is wrong and details arent filled in but they are

Is this on the info page or on the mix upload page?

If it's the details page, all fields should be filled in, only the facebook + myspace are optional.

If it's the mix upload page the tick box should be ticked..

Let us know and we can get you uploading

just another reason for me to do a mix yay

ut was the mix upload i think - asked me what genre my mix was and the mix title etc i filled everything out but it didnt work kept saying oops some fields arent filled in or something

It won't upload my file.. says its too busy, should that be the case?? The file is 320kbps & 169 MB.

I tryed last night also... waited 80mins while it uploaded.. only a 90Mb 192kbps file...   Just cancelled it in the end.. 

mine worked eventually

It could be worth looking into some sort of web control to give more feedback on how much of the upload has been completed or something, but looks like a promising site has the tracklist function not been completed yet? I can't find where to edit it

Hey guys, sorry to hear you're having trouble uploading... We've made a few performance enhancing changes and these issues should be resolved now, so please try again and let us know!

As for info, yes, we're working on an upload progress bar to you're not left wondering what's going on!!.. in the mean time a little patience is required..

Some good mixes on there.. need to get tracklists working soon, it's all a bit lucky dip style at the moment  :lol:
