I allready gave my review. What I dont do is dismiss the fact that this crap sounds just like bouncy hard house.thumbsupTherefore it is hard house.

Thanks for correcting my tastes Zanos biggrinthumbsup  I didn't think of it like that before and now I have, I actually realise that the Blackout Crew's track is really sick man and I will google them and see if I can pick up some of their stuff...

I only wish I was half as insightful and full of wisdom as you are

Dude when I said "exactly" I was being sarcastic. My point was proven by you. I said that hard house was bouncy and was "donk" at some point in the past and most of you were into it. You agreed with this when you said "The type of material I take as being the original bouncy stuff tends to be on productions from the likes of Paul Janes, BK and the Knuckleheads." I rest my case lol.

Not all hard house was bouncy numb nuts and that is not where it originated as I have said to you many times before.  Some material was bouncy but not all of it and just because I liked some bouncy material doesn't mean I have pledged to enjoy whatever direction it shoots in the future.  As I said before I have never really enjoyed the oinkier stuff and this is what has morphed into "donk".

I don't see what your point is.  You seem to be wanting to define peoples tastes for them and I just want to clarify that I have never liked crap that sounds like what the Blackout Crew do and if I want to take this piss out of it I will screwu.

Dude I dont care what you listen to today and in the future. All I was saying that you are ignorant when it comes to your roots. By "you" I didnt mean you John. If you are saying that you didnt listen to donk then thats fine with me and my comment shouldnt concern you then. But you went on to speak for everybody on here when you said "Fuck off are we." but now you are speaking just about yourself. Make up your mind.

Bounce is not the roots of the hard house/nrg that I and plenty of other listen to today as I have explained to you a number of times.  Can't you get that through your head?  Bouncier hard house came along a few years after the genre name was coined and at that time there was plenty of none bouncy material around as well.  So all your statements about bounce being the "roots" of what many of listen today is complete donkey.  The reason I say "fuck off are we" is because the comment I was replying to wasn't just aimed at me, if it was I would have answered accordingly.  And I know from what I read on these forums that most peoples music tastes on here do not come originally from bounce.

The actual roots off hard house originate from the mid to early 90's and was in many places referred to as hard bag.  These were made up of productions from the likes of the Sharp Boys and were NOT bouncy.

Im not talking about roots of hard house/nrg. Im talking about your roots. "Your" as in most people on BT. Im not arguing where hh/nrg come from. All im arguing is that this donk sounds just like most of hh that was around 8-10 years ago, if not eariler. and that most of you were into it and now you are ignoring your roots. Can't you get that through your head?

But the implication of one of your previous posts was that donk is the roots of the harder sort of music most people on these boards enjoy.  Make your mind up.  It's not down to someone who hates harder stuff and is clearly ignorant about a lot of this in this genre to tell people about their own music tastes.

As I put in my posts I never liked the oinky type stuff that turned into donk so don't tell me what my roots are.  To be honest roots should be where I started and for me that was mid 90's with the hard bag material.  I don't know why you feel the need to tell me otherwise I guess as usual its just you being a ..........

The funny thing about this whole thing is that you are bitching about people slagging off a track because you think it relates to peoples roots.  Yet, you used to like harder music (it seems) but feel the need to slag it off all the time.

Aren't you just having a go because you think some people are doing what you come on here to do?  I don't believe most of us are acting like you but you are no position to be having a go about peoples tastes changing etc

You're the one who's forgetting his roots zanos. I still love all the same music I used to. I bought the odd dodgy track here and there but who didn't, and they've all been off loaded on ebay and discogs. I still listend to all the trance and hard house I bought 8-9 years ago. You on the other hand seem to believe you have elevated above others coz you have forgot your roots and now listen to depressive house.

You moronic root forgetter laughing

I went to Gods Kitchen a few months back to see Armin play a 4 1/2 hour set. Unfortunately he played 1:30am - 6am and we got in there at 10:30pm. The resident was churning out one depressive house track after another. I was so fucking miserable by 12:30am that I couldn't hack it anymore and spent £20 on a taxi home despite already having paid for a return taxi with my friends. Worst night of my life. Load of fucking crap. People were just standing around waiting for Armin to come on and many I spoke to said some of their friends weren't coming till after 1am as they couldn't stand all that depressing music thumbsdown

Well I wasn't. I've never liked the bounce sound. Even so, the Blackout Crew are far beyond bouncy house. It's scouse house with bad rapping. A totally different genre to proper Hard House.

And if you want to talk about roots then we all have the same roots depending on how far you want to go back. Progressive House, Hard House, Scouse House. Do you see what I'm saying.
