Youtube to hand over all details of all visitors

Just heard on the news that Youtube are giving Google all details they have of every single person ever to visit the site, even just people watching them.  I'm not sure whether it's a big deal or not but i certainly don't like the fact that Google are showing so much interest in them!!!  What would they need with them???

its all due to adwords, they are trying to build a profile of what people look at and the best possible ads to give them. i wouldnt worry to much about it, just you get adverts which you may be interested in - or you get lots of gay porn ads

i'm gonna get some dodgey ads from google if they look into my youtube searchs..

hopefully they dont look at youporn too....

i just seen on the news its got something to do with a court case googles involved in , in the US .....

It's nothing to do with adverts mate and nothing even to do with Google or Youtube. Viacom are suing Youtube for allowing clips of its material to be posted.

What a fucking joke this all is. Like people ain't gonna buy their DVDs coz you can get a 2 minute clip of a show in a 500 pixel square box with shit sound and video quality.

i could understand if the situation related to youporn and the porn industry because those sites remove any need to buy porn, but you can't exactly watch whole films in decent quality on youtube.

YouTube aren't giving Google the list.

Google own YouTube, they already have those details.

Viacom are taking Google to court for not protecting copyright works enough on YouTue and the court is ruling that Google has to provide Viacom with the information.
