Music Style HARD TRANCE

just been on youpube lookin @ old videos and listenin to ripped tracks from the 90's when the larger part of it all was still the rave scene, such likes as helter skelter, kinetic, species, north etc and the likes of all the dj's that played at these venue's and many other's. it reminded me of how passionate i was ( and still am ) about the whole thing.

getting to the point, do you think that the uk has always had and still has best events, venue's and general clubbing atmosphere and dedication than anywhere else? i dont know, there's just something about it all. have a look on youpube and have a think about all the yrs youve had and when you used to hunt out specific tapes or cd's from nights or maybe one off tunes.

IMO the uk has all been the leader and fashion of dance culture. thumbsup

Although i've been into the uk scene for some years, when i discovered the euro style techno trance, vath, tanith, dag, bolland etc, that was a revelation to me.

The UK definitely imo had an awesome dance scene in the 90's, was a great time to spend clubbing and raving. I like it now, especially last wkend, but glad I done what I did earlier thumbsup The scene seemed more free and less restrictions.

it's the best in some ways but i think there are bigger, better organised events out on the continent - they just don't have quite the same 'flavour'. unfortunately a lot of the UK events are a bit chavvy/towny these days and lack in atmosphere. i want to get to some of the hippier festivals and events sometime soon as therer shouldn't be that problem at those (glade, shamania etc)

Agree with you on the hippier festys. I think Shamania looks the pick of the bunch this year.
