Got someone who wants to me to get them a gaming laptop. Budget is about £3000. Anyone got any ideas of what makes or where to get them please?

This one is pretty nice, we had a few in work the other day and they fly mate.  Only problem being it's Acer and if it goes wrong, they take forever and a day to sort out as you probably already know.  Really nice multimedia controls onboard though!!!  thumbsup thumbsup

yeah they can be a tad slow on the repair side of things.

yeah they can be a tad slow on the repair side of things.

Good job i took out PC insurance with PC world then when i bought it, It still takes them minimum of 4-6 weeks to fix them though looking

longest ive had from acer is 6weeks but that was a motherboard fault, they didnt have stock of it lol.

The Dell XPS laptops are meant to be pretty good... Alienware are pretty good but they are massively overpriced for what you get
