gets better as it goes along - this is what i started today, its still work in progress but the core is down. Obviously need to work on the arrangement and break etc but i'm really loving the way its turning out so far. More dirty riffs and psy/hardhouse shizzle. Feedback welcome

i enjoyed the track, nice sounding bass, kinda like minimal hard dance lol.

One thing  I would say is that off hat was far to loud and drowning everything else so it was hard to gage the production underneath it as well took your attention away from it.

It's a nice a style and it work wells..

Keep it up.

Easy mate, had a little listen and so far i think the track has some really cool ideas, as has already been said the main hat is far too loud, i also think it is too long, taking some of the release off would free up alot of space for some extra percussion in there... The beggining of the track needs alot more edits and fills too like there are in the second half of the tune as it seems quite monotonous early on... The synth that is in there at the moment is really cool (it seems a bit one sided at the moment on the left so maybe automate some panning in and put a bit of stereo imaging on it) also i would elaborate on it later on by backing it up with another synth playing a different melody to complement it and really give the tune a purpose after the break... All in all though its got some great ideas so far, i love the wierd reversed sounds you have going on i think if you worked on some of the bits i said plus add some sweeps and fills etc then give it a good mixdown the tune would be pukka... Good work fellathumbsup

EDIT : Forgot to add - With the synth thats in there at the moment get some more filtering going on with it, will sound wicked with the gated chops if its filtered loads...thumbsup

Gotta change the hats, and yeah i'll definately start panning and filtering the riff like you said.

oh also, help me out with the stereo imaging thing dude... I only get how to narrow and widen. Are you talking about widening it??

Yeah mate i mean widen it a bit, the automated panning may help with the fact that its a bit one sided at the moment too... Hope that helps mate thumbsup

The open hat has too much reverb on it for me, love the bassline and kick. I have to be honest, I thought to myself "this is not going anywhere" and then the bass came in. I really like some of the percussive noises (mainly the sound that sounds like a filtered kick or something), but not bits that sound reversed, Needs some more stuff in there to keep you interested, perhaps more percussion and a few random twisted synthy bits every now and then but definitely worth adding to because of the bassthumbsup

sounds pretty good so far in terms of ideas and arrangement. Bassline sound and pattern has a nice hook with the synth riff. I'd take the release out and gate the op hat for sure as it's too overpowering and doesn't allow much else to move freely as opeum said. The clap sounds a little tame, maybe change the clap sound or delay/reverb the inital sound. For 2 hours of writing you've done a good job of it so far, just sort the op hat out and i'll look forward to hearing the update. Good work so far overall given the duration of time written thumbsup
