Anyone used/heard this before?? I know its no substitute for proper treatment but just wondered if it is any good?

I use it. Definitely saves your ears and I felt I was fiddling about less with the mixdown

How does it work Tim? do you just open it as an eq on your master, mix your track and export with it still on master?

I have it on my master channel from the start and basically keep it there till it comes to bounce

it says it corrects your bass to a true level but how does it do that?

im interested because my room is tiny and needs some help, but im not sure how it works really.

You get a mic with it and you use this to calobrate the room by placing it in different positions in the room while it plays back different frequencies then it creates a custom eq setting based on your room to be used on the master channel

so if you get a lot of bass reflection and therefore dont put enough bass in, it will compensate for you when you export the tune?

picked one of these up and so far i'm pretty impressed. Takes some getting used to the difference, as i now realise how boomy my room was sounding - listening to normal music through itunes sounds crap now!

mixdowns are sounding alot tighter and more "pro" sounding.

Waiting for this to arrive myself, i hope it's as good as the hype

It is pretty good. I noticed that the bass seemed to drop loads with it on but after using it for about 10 mins you get used to it. I turn it off every so often and it sounds shit- really boomy. Mixes translate much better after.

just remember to turn it off before you bounce.

So you mix down with it ON then disable it? Does it add or reduce any dB while mixing down?

yeah, you leave it on from start to finish basically then just bybass it when you bounce. It reduces the level by a couple of dB when its on but you can adjust the gain on the plug-in anyway.

thats the info i was after. will be getting one of these i reckon.
