i'm getting really stressed by the vast number of people who use the word 'brought' when in fact they mean 'bought'

i see it loads and cant understand it

rant over, it's just one of my pet hates

I hate the way illiterate cafeterias constantly misuse apostrophes when advertising their greasy wares.

Things like " Tea's ", " Hot-Dog's " and " Greasy Shite's ".

I 100% agree with you. It is also something that really annoys me. I also despair at many other misuses of English. I hate it when people say 'yourn' instead of 'yours'. I hate it when people say 'chimbley' instead of 'chimney'. I also hate it when people pronounce 'pronunciation' as 'pronounciation'.
