So what is the average age??? Wondered if I've peaked and its all down hill from here violent

29,married with kids & still blast me tunes on a daily basis violent

Been clubbing since 93 & mixing since 2000 deffo can't see me stopping anytime soon. If anything my passion seems to be getting stronger with age (although recovery time from a sesh is longer these days)

been asking this question myself... i'm 27 in sept and been wondering when i am gonna be too old for it... i love it now as much, if not more, than when i got into it over a decade ago and dont see that changing so even if i'm in my thirties (which isnt old at all really) i'll jam it up and try get gigs thumbsup

crickey, 2nd oldest to reply so far - 35 but closer to 36. Loving the tunes and mixing more than ever, and clubbing less often but more due to what's on offer here (no longer go out to just anything to get on it). thumbsup

I'm 23 now, playing since I was 17 (after being introduced to EDM only a year earlier) although my first real gig playing my own music was this spring. Is frustrating to hear of people here who only have been mixing for one year or so and getting far better gigs than any HH-DJs here in Norway can dream of...

Thats just the way it is mate..There is more of a demand for harder music in the uk hence there are more gigs so more people get a chance to play out...Its the same here in Ireland the hard house scene pales in comparison to the uk although it has picked up abit in the last year or 2 with more quality nights on

33 and been clubbing and DJ'ing since about 92/93, producing since about 2000 I think. Don't think I'd have ever thought I'd have done what I have and been where i've been when I first started so I'm happy. Music styles have changed over the years but don't think I'd ever stop. Am sure I'll be teaching the little one when it comes along! biggrin

Christ, I can trump you all! Played my very last gig on NYE last year at the ripe old age of 50 and am now muchly enjoying my retirement with the latest edition of 'People's Friend', slippers and a nice mug of cocoa!! laughing

It's sad I have never actually got to catch you DJ'ing Chris frown . Have really enjoyed many of your productions though and have been reminded again recently while converting my old records so I can play them off CD.

26 in a few weeks, been mixing since 2002.. played a few gigs out but not promoting myself much because i dont drive and wont rely on other people getting me places. Once I've got my license, i plan on starting my own night locally and getting out and dj'ing a few more places - so with all this in mind, I dont think I'll be stopping anytime soon smile
