new tech trance track, 1st one for a while!

ive just about finished a new track call tomorrows world.. the track is on my myspace player at www.myspace.com/dclipslive,

Good tune lad!! I like a bit more whack in the kick in my trance but thats a personal preferance! Plenty good layers can hear them all and they complement nice!! Nothing else to say other than

Bang on, cant fault the production to be honest. Loads going on, keeps you interested all sits nicely together and flows.

Top work, love the gritty synths in there.

Not aq bad tune there mate, the production is good, i think the mix is a little muddy in the midrange, maybe try and get some more crispness to the hats etc... Everything else seems to be fine though... I wouldnt really call this tech trance either, more like normal trance but with a few harder sounds dropped in here and there, the riffs really remind me alot of Lab 4's style of riffs, could be the sound you are using too... Good stuff mate

wasn't really feelin' the bassline, just the bass of the kick, which could be punchier.  the first part of the break builds nicley.  the second part of the break is nice and lush - though it could benefit with a bit more percussion than just the kick and clap - i didn't like the abruptness of the build; personally, i think the first part i mentioned would have worked better, but that's just my view. there are quite a few sounds competing for frequencies - maybe it might benefit from a little parametric eqing - but it's not that bad.

overall, it's the basis of a pretty strong track - a few tweaks and it could be a cracker - muscially, i really liked it.  nice.

cheers guys for the kind words and constructive feedback... i always find the myspace player highlights the eq faults throug its own shitty encoding, i can never get a track to sound good through it compared to say armin van burren whos myspace player sounds like a bloody cd!!!

Im gonna stick it through the mincer one more time tonight to see if i can iron out some of the eq faults... its hard tho when your listening to a wav or 320kbps cos it sounds so crisp all the time!

ill put a 320kb link up later so you lot can see if the real mccoy stands up better than the myspace version
