Logic 8 & vci-100 help!

i would like to start using my vci as a midi controller with logic but can't seem to find any info on how to set it up, i've flicked through the manual & unless i am missing something there's not much info about this sort of thing.

if anyone knows how to do this or can point me in to a section of the manual i may have missed that would give me more info i would be very grateful
