yer i know what u mean in alfairness to ye old donk hes stood the test of time alot of the youngsters i know these days are well into just catchy mcing and donk baselines slamming at there pill filled heads. hope you all enjoy the rack neway its nothign technicaly genius it just is what it is DONK. lol

what are you talking about? the donk bassline & funky percussion/hat loops are what hardhouse was. hardhouse has progressed over the years and most producers choose to stop using these sounds, some producers carried on using the older sounds and styles. the record label would have come up with the naming of Hardbounce/scousehouse/bouncyhouse or what ever to create an illusion of something new so that they can carry on selling old done to death shit to idiot djs that think they are "with it" !

just place the file in the presets folder for the ableton applicaation it should be stored at:
c/mydocuments/ableton/lybrary/presets/instruments/instrument rack.

hope this helps any problems let me know

i didn't state thats what it was at the start of hardhouse. i simply said thats what it "was", meaning at one point in the progression of hardhouse that donk sound was for a while the main bass sound within hardhouse. then most porducers choose to move on, where as over producer choose to keep using the same old sound noise.

and are you seriously telling me those names you mentioned have never used that sound?

jon langford was responsible for that vicky pollard track and you seem to be forgetting the remix of house rocca he did.

Paul has done a few under his uk gold guise. Fantastic thing, Bits and pieces, and technocat 2000 remixes spring to mind
