Who's used tried these??

Anyone on here tried these compressors.?? There like $500 to buy so thinking they might be alright or just over priced..

I have a UAD CARD.. With the 1176LN amp and The Plate Verb 140 but they eat cpu of one card.. The plate verb alone takes about 25% then with 3 1176 LN's it's maxed out.. There both 2 plug ins you need in any track tho. They sound unreal. Need to buy another uad crad then eh, lol

might be best to hang for the next gen UAD cards....   if you can go by what they are named then your looking at 4 times the power of a normal one... have agander on sound on sound or the UAD forum

Yeh, Mr Thomas was mentioning something about them.. Will check them out. One of them with the one i have should do fine for the future

It is on the way, but UA are not even releasing a product spec yet, so it could easily be another year

Yeah but the thing with UA is, that they normally bring products out that WORK, unlike things like the TI and Cubase 4 that were released then had numerous bugfixes/updates etc. They're probably keeping it under wraps and making sure it's 99% effective(probably)

I'll be getting a more powerful card/unit if they come out, might even splash for 2 for all the Neve goodness
