I used to use a Trackball in the birmingham studio, used to love it, got the idea from some top producers in the strongroom studio London... great idea when space is limited around your main midi keyboard

But since keyboards have got smaller together with music setups i suppose the space is there now for a mouse, especially optical mice. A trackball is just an upturned ball mouse.
You could just get a seperate mouse pad as on laptops but i hate them....with a trackball you can fly around the screen by whizzin the ball around...a lot of fun when you get used to it!

As for studio furniture, has anyone made their own yet?
