Im in the process of making my room more studio-like and need to get a computer desk to fit the bill. Ive got a PC, 2 monitors and midi keyboard so need 3 shelves. Looked on a couple of sites and can't see any suitable... Any suggestions?

Trackballs are a necessity when playing out with Ableton. Looks pretty shit using a mouse in a club yawn

I used to use a Trackball in the birmingham studio, used to love it, got the idea from some top producers in the strongroom studio London... great idea when space is limited around your main midi keyboard thumbsup

But since keyboards have got smaller together with music setups i suppose the space is there now for a mouse, especially optical mice. A trackball is just an upturned ball mouse.

You could just get a seperate mouse pad as on laptops but i hate them....with a trackball you can fly around the screen by whizzin the ball around...a lot of fun when you get used to it! smile

As for studio furniture, has anyone made their own yet?
