Been looking at the demo vids for each and they look very good. Effectrix is like glitch, but with a bit more control and the GURU is for making beats and loops etc. Both look great for electronic music. Anyone used either? Worth getting?

Both are brilliant Kev, I rate Effectrix above glitch as you can layer up the effects thumbsup

Guru is brilliant for percussion, esp when writing electro/fidget house etc.

I've got a demo of Effectrix but not used it yet. Might give it ago over the weekend and see what its like because I really like Glitch but find sometimes its hard to control.

I find i get some nice effects with glitch especially when I randomise (purely because its hard work sometimes). Thing is when I reload the project the randamisation is randomised in a different random way.

...random. munted

Think im gonna have to sample it off next time angry

thats why your working with a randomizer, as soon as it sounds good you should bounce it down

I think glitch is better used once your track is finished and mixed down.. Then you render the bits with glitch on and do different versions and randomise. Then just drop them in on a audio channel and arrange away. Unless you wanna be using a sound right through the track that is glitched or a perc loop or something. I'd still bounce it down. No room for lazyness when making music.
