Hi

Feel free to check out my new tune called 'Halloween 2008'. It's dark, filthy version of the Halloween film theme track for a Halloween party coming up. Any feedback and comments would be lovely. Cheers smile

I'm gonna do a remix / dub with a famous Drum n Bass tune.. Still have'nt decided whether it's going to be a Nrg tune or Drum n Bass tho, lol.. Just had the idea. I do love the key change in the 2007 Haloween theme released last year. Can't remember the guy who done it. Will give the tune a listen on my setup when i get chance anyways wink

cheers guys, it was a bit of a chore adapting the original riff into a 4/4, but got there eventually.

the part where the halloween tune changes key doesn;t sound quite right to me, but...when the strings, hoover, bass key change, et al kick in, it all sounds sweet.  the same goes for the main section too.  everything else is sounding good.

obviously a bit of a novetly tune but you should get a lot of joy from it this time of year! thumbsup

Had a little listen mate, the kick and bass are nice, im not too sure on the oldskool / funky sounding stabs, i think they just sound a bit off key with the rest of the tune and take away from the dark feel of it... The keychanges as the riff starts to come in are good but they clash with the bass so i would think about reworking them somehow or seeing if you can get a bass keychange to work a bit better... All the effects are nice, they build up plenty of energy, i think the biggest thing for me that could be worked on is the break, obviously the halloween theme tune is really eirie and dark and i think if you extended the break a bit you could really play around with making it alot more atmospheric, something that will really freak the gurners in the club out would be cool... all in all its a good tune so far, with some work on the bass and darkening the mood of it a little bit i think it would be wicked !!! thumbsup
