There's some more traps to go in and some synths yet. But thats pretty much it yeah. The XLR cables are only a mtr long!! angry So thats why the monitors are like that, ordered some longer ones. gash.

still looks good though mate, the KRK's need to be upright instead of on the sides and i would assume the others do to

3x1 timber box, filled with 2'' rockwool slabs, covered with fabric. Then made a shelve in each corner for them to sit on as well as attaching them to wire loops at the top. Cheap as chip really

Sam the desk is from KAM, its the one Nardi has too. I had ordered the studiorta station from thomann, but they fucked me around so went for this. Its perfect for my set up really. Around £300 i think it was.

Paul the traps are fantastic got the side walls and celling done now. I'd say all in all i spent around £160 on them, which is dirt cheap compared to the traps and foam on the market.

Fuck that is cheap for traps mate, what did you build for that, the corners as well?

I'll be sorting my room accoustics in a couple months and at the minute was set on buying 5 of those trap bags from the US!!

http://www.noisestopsystems.com/buy_soundproofing/index.php?cPath=21_34  <<<Website for the slabs.

I got the 2'' slabs, they're 1200mm 600mm then you get the appropriate spec of plain timber 3''x1'' make the box to fit, then get some cheap ass material (Open cell, just hold it up to light and see how much comes through, also blow through it. You will be able to judge) Had the woman in the shop blowing for me wink laughing

Then just staple the material down tight and hang with wire (I made a 90' angle frame for mine to sit on)
They look great too.

in the process of making 2 corner traps, ceiling and 2 wall traps for my little space. really is cheap as fuck and judging by the look of the equivalent foam product, will be much more effective.thumbsup

Mine are pretty similar - from what I've read though, using thicker slabs seriously improves the low end absorbtion, so I went for the 100mm (about 4") really dense (160kg/m3) stuff.

Got about 70% of it up now and the room sounds pretty good
