Shopping Bags

Do you bring your own bags to the supermarket or are you a planet detroying evil cunt who asks for bags?

Keep meaning to bring bags with me but never remember. The cashiers seem to have a knack of making you feel like a cunt for asking for a bag though lately

Na i always get em from the super markets, Then i re-use them for bin bags in my small bin in my bedroom.

What happened though to supermarkets keeping the old cardboard boxes by the till to take. Surely useing these would be better than bags?

I double bag everything, its a long way from the shopping trolley to the boot and my genetically modified irradiated plastic wrapped frozen organic vegebles might burst a single bag.

I get my shopping delivered and the fuckers give me as many bags as poss. Often the shopping arrives with one item per bag, its disgraceful! 

Thats true, tesco are the worst for that.

All this "bag" business does my head in...just give me loads of bags you bastards!

This whole business about waste is caused by the supermarkets. It's they who hand out them out on mass, and same applies to  packaging. As soon as you get the item it home you rip the packaging up, so there's not much point to it to start with.

 

Well, That's not actually true is it

 

The packaging is normally there to keep the food from going off quickly, With the packaging the food will last weeks, Months, Even years, But if it was just slopped onto a shelf then it would go off within a day or so lol.

 

Most packaging can be recycled these days anyway so it's up to us really, Cardboard boxs, Tin cans, Glass bottles, Plastic boxes etc etc they all can be recycled, It just if we can be assed to do it lol and not just throw it all into the same bin 

No no no the excess packaging I was referring to.  BUT plastic bags.... I'm right.. they really do hand them out on mass.

Actually most of the recycled stuff that you sort into seperate bags ends up in landfills in thirdworld countries. Its all a load of total bollocks mate, no one gives a shit believe me. Its all a front for the gov to look good, thats it. All these companies make their packaging out of recyclable materiels but none of tthem make their packaging out of recycled materiels.

I find that a bit hard to believe, It'd cost loads to ship rubbish to another country, Why would they do that when they would actually make money from recycling it haha

I've heard that too. Nothing is improving. The recycling thing is just a smoke screen.

No idea mate. Why did Gordon Brown sell off the countries gold reserves in three lots each time when the price of gold was at rock bottom prices? Its all a mystery.

This is true,my local council does it  also the majority of glass sent for recycling is green(beer bottles etc) but green glass cant be recycled due to the colour,why the fuck dont they tell you this?as said earlier its all just a big con to make the govt/councils look good.

So let me get this right.... I should just put all my rubish in one bin instead of the 100 other multi coloured bins the council give us for "Recyclable" stuff like paper/card, Tins etc etc?

Phone your local council and ask them where your rubbish ends up.
