We have today found out that Pinnacle Distribution have gone into administration.   We would therefore ask that if you are planning to purchase any of the new CDS that you do not do this through HMV or any of the major retailers.    BANGINGTUNES is the place to buy or any other independent store.

 

This of course isnt great news about Pinnacle!  But we are hoping it wont have too much of a neagative impact if people choose to purchase from the right stores (Meaning we still get paid etc...)

Blimey! Another one bites the dust

so first vinyl distributor, now CDs distributors...
is this a sign that the Cd fomat may not work either?

Dont quote me on it but I think its got more to do with old woolies and the high street having a bad time.  CD format as a whole is stilll very strong

I'm with Nik, if you consider how little underground dance music they must have done its hardly a sign of our scene, thats just a wider thing that has slight implecations for a few shops. Most people get there stuff from BT etc anyway I'd have thought

no dont get mixed up here, i am meaning, think about why cd distributors would go under. possible because of Itunes, and all the online downloads that are available.

yes hard dance is going the CD root, but maybe peoples buying habits are more download than buying CD?
As its the age of the Ipod remember.
