Ralph Fridge - Angel (hard trance remix) -Feedback

This has been one of my favourite tracks since I heard it being dropped at a Gatecrasher back in the day. Never wanted to touch it until I felt I could do something good with it and now I finally have time to get writing again I decided to give it a booty. Epic Hard Trancer, doubled the DJ outro in this one so the original will be about 7:12.

Any type of feedback definetly welcome before I give it a mixdown with better speakers, master + upload.

Sounds ok Alex. Arrangement is fine and it flows well. A mixdown and a couple of tweaks needed. Kik and bassline needs more presence. Bass sound is fine, just whack it up more and maybe change or layer a kik to beef it up without going too hard. The backing groove has a little part of the bar which isn't in time. Cut that in half and copy the first half of it and it should be fine. Making the kik and bass having more polarity will benefit a lot imo, apart from that it's fine.

Some really good ideas in this pal, i mean that , like it. I think there seems to be a loop out of time if u get what i mean. Love the original aswell. Beef that kick and make it more crisp and id play it man

Nice remix mate really good varied arrangement love the kick and percussion it needs abit of work on the mixdown tighten up the percussion loops chop them bring the hits to the grid lines turn down the volume on the hits that fall on the kick so they dont clash over the kick compress your percussion group track to get that percussion alot clearer shelve eq the bottom end out of the main synths i can hear alot of phasing in there

 

compress that bass and id shorten the bass notes a tad use shelve eq and roll of abit more on the bottom end of the bass then turn it up a little did you use one of the Uhbik plugins on that pad in the breakdown? theyre wicked got them the other day nice track mate needs a little clearing up and itl be solid

No probs mate just work though everything from the kick upwards no drastic changes needed everythings there and sounds good its just small adjustments to tighten things up soloing sounds that might be phasing together use an frequency analyser on them to balance the eq then play them with the rest of the track untill everythings balanced and sitting right
