I like big cans, I had 2 pairs of the HDJ1000's but they just snap all the time but the sound quality was superb.  No got technics, Sound quality not as good as pioneers but fucking solid.

hd25s are the most uncomfortable thing ever invented. i'd rather spend a night sat on a judas cradle. i've got allen & heath xd-53s which are pretty phenomenal, my next headphones will be HDJ-2000s though. if these fuckers ever even consider breaking which they don't seem to be

rpdh-1200's ftw. get the clearest sound when in a club imo coz of the nice big cups and 50mm driver units.

I've had a heap of headphones as i always seem to brake them but the ones i've stuck with SENNHEISER HD 25SP MKII as they are mega cumfy and i've had no probelums with them, highly recomend them

I've had that exact problem.  My HD 25SP's are quality for bedroom mixing, but in a club they just aren't loud enough and distort if you whack them up full blast.  Standard HD 25's seem to be quite a bit louder and a hell of a lot better to use in clubs.

HD 280 pro's, sound fantastic, isolate much more sound than the hd-25's (so sound louder) have more bass, but look a bit silly and can get a bit uncomfortable after 3 or 4 hours if you arent wearing them properly. Definitely better sounding headphones out there for more money but these do the job as well as you need them too when dj'ing...

hate Sonys, ive seen too many broken pairs (they may have improved now but the plastic used to snap) and the sound quality was appaling compares to sennys, all mids.

I've come back to the Technics RPDJ1200 after using a few Sony's and newer Technics sets. Find these better than all of them.

if you want a headphone for djing then i would definitly go for technics rp dj1210 as they are far more robust
i have had every top line headphones their is and the only1 what has never failed or broke has been the technics rp-dj1210 and they are about 50quid cheaper than the pioneers
