Got 5 tracks in the top 100,wont say how many sales they've had jus yet.

On average how many sales does a digi release usually get?

You should be able to see how many of each track has sold when you log into your labels admin server in TID

I can was jus wondering what the average was mate

ok ill start our biggest release has had over 120 downloads and our worst about 30 odd. we average around 60ish. but thats not all on tid.

all things considered, i.e. when vinyl was on its way out some labels struggled to sell 100, plus the amount of new music out their i'm happy with those figures as a new label trying to get a name out there.

yeah think dom got a load more than that in the end, i mean ppl like me and a few others had already paid him for the cd like i believe. but still id be interested to see how many cd releases are shifting, i mean the 7-8 track cds. like the deprivation, toolbox, killerhurtz, funky disko etc ones

I thought tid take roughly 2/3rds, which is quite frankly fucking wrong bullshit of the highest order!

The TID charts can be misleading, only use it as a guide really. I've had a couple of tracks hitting No1 and found out that tracks of mine that reached around the 10th mark have sold more. Depends on how all the others in the chart are selling too, some weeks and months could be a dry period or a good period.

That is shockingly bad on TID's part - are other download sites as bad (ie. Beatport / Audiojelly etc). Good work on nuwave mate!

I only put stuff ater its been on cd or vinyl so not sure what a new never released tune would do - but hard house is a very small select scene at the mo

juno is better, beatport you wont find much hh, they dont like it.

Yes beatport and audio jelly all give under 50p royalties. With nuwave I just wanted to give more money back to the artist to give them more money to put back into production to bring more good hardhouse tunige it's a very expensive hobby otherwise lol

danny ill try and sort out that contract this week to get Slave 7 up there mate.

Yeh just send it over mate Nick the Nuwave Store was only really getting big profile labels on it in the last few weeks so will be in talks with the big labels to get them to help push there dj following to buy from the Store as it gets them more cash. I'm away at the minute in Liverpool as my little girl is having heart surgery but as soon as I'm back home the store will be getting a few changes mainly a built in music player and we will be pushing more traffic for the store but wanted to wait for the big profile labels to come on board before I start the wave of pr for the store. I know it won't ever touch the amount of traffic trackitdown will get but I am only letting hard trance / hardhouse labels on the store so I know it won't even be close. I'm just trying to do my bit for the hardhouse scene mainly cause that is my first love haha

50 people buy the track, you can be sure 300-400+ have a copy

They pay a label 50p per download & the rest goes towards VAT, MCPS, Credit Card processing.

TID make 42p per download.

Yeh I can imagine the costs are a lot for trackitdown. Nuwave store makes about 15pence a download the 35p goes to nochex card processing, hosting, paypal fees and soon MCPS . But like I said before this is just somethink I wanted to do for the hardhouse scene. I'm pretty sure trackitdown will be making a bit from advertsing aswell because of the massive amount of traffic they have.

TID use data centre co-location due to the extreme bandiwdth and disk space they need. That doesn't come cheap.

Yeh she is good now mate she has got through the worst of it. Its her 3rd major heart operation she is a right little fighter. She had her first op 6 days old and she is now 3. Were just living onsite in mc house at the minute which is a charity funded hotel on the hospital grounds. We would of been screwed without this as we would of had to stay in a travel lodge or travel everyday. We do a lot of charity work to say thanks tho as they have done more than enough for us and our little girl. Thanks for asking mate
