hey man, its sounding good, what you were saying about a lead melody bassed around the bassline melody, maybe try an old skool stab sample or similar synth with one osc at +7 semi, think its called fiths in chords? but should give it even more of a retro rave sound.....

Progression is one of my biggest hurdles mate.

Trying to make the track progress, but keep a melody still.

Progression seemed ok then to the rave part at end,or should i have adapted off this first sound do you think?
Obviously i hadn't gone of a total tangent. Its what i thought was good progression because its in key still same sort of notes. The ghostly opening sound reminded me of fairy dust, etc sounding idea,so its seemed in my mind to progress to finish on banging oldschool fairy dust, frequency style rave was the finish.I am happy with ending, just not sure its the best progression after opening sound tbh. uhoh

Thanks a lot for feedback, appreciate it. thumbsup

Do you think that bassline sounds ok or does it need compressing?
