Invested in a 3G Ipod Touch and have been reading a LOT of books recently.

Brave New World is currently being tanned, though it's probably the 20th time I've read it now. Was inspired to read it again by a post Morbz made a few weeks ago...If you could post that picture up again Nick would be much appreciated thumbsupthumbsup

A book I cannot recommend more highly is Kane and Abel by Jeffery Archer. It's an absolute must read thumbsup

Indeed it is, fantastic book biggrin

I personally believe that the world in 1984 is more like what modern day China and North Korea have become. Our Western world is much more akin to that described in Brave New World and Animal Farm (even though Animal Farm is about Communism/Socialism, it puts the whole concept of our 'leaders' into perspective.

I read all of George Orwell's novels back to back about 20 years ago, one of the most depressing episodes of my life.

The Sookie Stackhouse series (True Blood) is very good, don't let the girly name put you off there's plenty of violence, sex, drugs & mystery to interest boys too

If your into Horror look out for a copy of "Walkers" by Graham Masterton.
Not a famous book, but brilliant. kept me awake that book did.

Also check out "Dispatches" By Michael Herr The dude who took a notepad & pencil to the Vietnam war & just wrote about what he saw, by far the most poetic & awesome books i've ever read, as a matter of fact i've read it about 4 times

Yep, Phillip K. Dick is one of my favs.  It's a great book. I'd say 90% of his stuff is great. Some of his stuff does ring of his ever sliding paranoia and mental deterioration. Weird shit.....
