I would personally say things are stronger here than they have been last year or even the last couple of years before it.  The problem that happens is that as soon as things have started to pick up there are more nights on looking to grab punters from the increased but still relatively small pot

That's always the way whatever the type of music these days.  I am afraid with the government putting the squeeze on booze, licencing along with the smoking ban and increased pub opening times it was always going to happen.  Another thing they have fucked up over the years

hardhouse died yrs ago,they just forgot to tell everyone on here.

It's the same for any hard genre of music, their scenes always have ups and downs. Hardstyle will start falling off it's hard perch in about 2 years when people get bored of listening to the same shit and realise it's mostly gash.

Hardcore had a really big peak in the 90's then went down the pan when everyone got bored of it. Then a few years ago it started to make a big comeback almost back to its original popularity.

Hard House had it's peak years ago we all know that, then the digital age came which almost completely destroyed it a few years back but now it is definitely on it's way back up now everyone has adjusted to the digital age.

There's lots of events on, shitloads of new tunes released most weeks and there's a good buzz about it all again IMO.

It's not dead at all, people just try and compare it with a huge scene and say it's dead.

Agree with you there buddy its not even a good balance throughout the whole night..its like 6 hours of fucking german trance/hardstyle and then a couple of hours of what the masses really want to listen too it sucks

Well clubs need to get their revenue somehow!

thats exactly it seriously the amount of people i have met from these countries what dont even know what hardhouse is is just depressing, and when im talking to people who dont live in these countries south americans, europeans ect i have to explain that its only remotly big in the Uk
