The constant accusations of "it's a troll" from those too easily wound up is one of the very reasons this site amuses me so much.
Can the Mods see IP addresses? Some functionality that shows which user IDs post from the same IP would make 'troll' accounts more visible?
It's a bit like the video ref argument in football - there is some logic in such functionality but it might actually make things more boring by taking away what is clearly a favourite talking point.
