Has anyone dealt with this company before?? www.millennium-music.co.uk

I've been waiting for my order of a soundcard and cubase guide for 3 weeks now..and still no sign of it.

Getting really pissed off about it now too!!

Don't deal with these people, they won't even return your emails thumbsdown

Hope I haven't been ripped off. frown

Mike,
Just send them an email explaining that unless they contact you within 24 hours then you will be cancelling your order.

I presume you have paid by credit card, if so & the money has been trasnfered into their account then speak with your bank & explain the situation & say that you are concerned. They will no doubt contact Millenium about it & will get things moving along just nicely.

This is why I always check they have it in stock, as you could be waiting weeks.

Hope you get it sorted...Try Inta Audio next time.

Yeah I sent them another email yesterday about it, but no reply yet. If they were concerned about it, surely they would have replied straight away?

I paid initially by UK debit card on their website, then received an email from them saying they won't accept cards on first orders, only bank transfers.

So I sent them the money via UK bank transfer (I still have accounts over there).

I will contact Lloyds and explain the situation..hopefully I haven't been ripped off though.

Yeah should have checked availability, but I thought an Audiophile 2496 would have been a stock item?

Cheers for the help..what's the site for Inta Audio?

They build music P.C's & sell all the extra bits & bobs too like soundcards, software etc.

I think the Audiophile is about £55 now.

I don't think Millenium have ripped you off, chances are it wasn't in stock & that can take a couple of weeks.

Yeah, don't fret too much yet.  I even had to wait a month for my usb midi port from Digital Village with no correspondence from them whatsoever in that month but it turned up in the end.  They all think that because they haven't got it in stock, you automatically know this and don't bother getting in touch... just expect you to waitideathumbsupwink

Okay, that makes me feel slightly better..cheers smile

Should have really checked availability..my own fault really!

It's just hard not to worry about it when you've transferred 110 pounds into an account..and not had any response from them! Especially when you're on the other side of the world.

Well I finally got a reply from them..turns out the soundcard wasn't in stock. Don't know why they couldn't tell me that 2 weeks ago uhoh

Been offered an EMU0404 instead if I don't want to wait for the Audiophile.

Can anyone recommend which one is better?

Cheers smile
