Been helping a mate out looking at some cd decks n i recommended the 1000s, but ive been to a few online shops now n none of them even have them available for purchase, not out of stock, just not on the site at all. Have they stopped making them or something? Found them on a couple of sites but alot of sites have stopped selling them altogether.

All the other DJM's are mixers anyway.

Most likely, shops are phasing out CDJ1000 for CDJ2000.

I would think that is most likely.

I would say the 900's are better than the 1000mk3's so they would be a good replacement smile

I definitely think the 900s are better. All your really missing from the 1000s are hot cues and a jog wheel adjust but you gain so much more.

I thought the CDJ2000's replaced the 1000's. CDJ800MK2's are now discontinued and the 900's have replaced them I believe

The only issue that I have with the CDJ-900s is that that isn't a "jog wheel adjust". I like to make the jog wheels nice and tough when I mix - though it's personal preference. If you aren't going to use the USB / Rekordbox functionality on the CDJ-900, it's hard to justify it's price against the CDJ-800.

No point in getting any of the new pioneer cdjs untill they are standard issue in the clubs unless your a mobile dj or just like having cool stuff .
