Don't wish to sound harsh mate but my advice to you would be practice a little more before you make any more releases mate, to be perfectly honest I think you need to come on along way before you start thinking about releasing your stuff.

Sorry to sound like an arse, but thats the truth, IMO.

as for feedback, the only thing i can suggest is try finding a theme and sticking to it. these tracks sound like the pasrt of about 20 thrown together. seriously, from the samples alone i have the impression its more breakdown then track.

OK folks.....thanks for the feedback!

Just a few things....

If this track wasnt for sale on Banging Tunes then i would say...ok....your right!

As these Brethren tracks ARE for sale on Banging Tunes it makes things a little different!

Different because? Management at Banging Tunes accepted this track...thus meaning it passes the standards test.

Perhaps i should have put the whole track up for you to listen to , to get a full perspective but not a problem!

I did notice none of you who replied had "hard trance" as your music style so i cant really take your views serious enough although you probably know about production....you probably dedicate your ears to your OWN style of music and not the style of others....

But as i said....all feedback is good so thanks.

The Brethren

This is because each track is about 12mins long....most producers in the Hard Trance scene produce an average of about 9mins a track....3mins is alot of time to play with.....not that we intend on making the track 12mins long.....we just do what feels natural!

Hi Eddie....I think myself and James would actually class this as "Next Level Hard Trance".....with a slight techno sound and a generous progressive flow!

You gotta love it when people ask for feedback, then when the feedback is not what they want to hear they get all defensive and start attacking!

In my opinion, this release stinks. It is so obviously an 'own label' job - I bet you punted it round a few labels, got rejected by them all and thought you would do it yourself. the tunes sound ill thought out, the production is just too dull and the energy level is so low as to be non-existant.

Its great to have faith in yourself, but you really do need to listen to people who have taken the time to listen and respond.

I agree Skelp especially when those people have been producing for a while and know what there listening too like most of us on here.

I do listen too and produce the occasional Hard Trance tune and tbh I don't think your tune sounds like Hard Trance at all.

I think you got something fresh and experimental going on there but i would never call it hard trance. I think bt is not the best place for stuff like this because it definetly more progressive, experimental techno than hard dance.
I can imagine this been played in techno club in germany but never in hard trance party in london.

mate, seriously. i have come from a trance/hard trance background and this isnt even remotely anything like trance, its like nothing i have ever heard before in my life. what/who were your influences? you need to learn to take feedback a little bit better mate, and probably ask for it before you release something? idea

anyway, good luck to you mate, i wish you all the best beer

Hmmmmmm sorry but there aint nowt new with this track , reminds of really old industrial acid trance , but it was pants , i think i would frow up if i heard a dj play this recordmadtongue , i dont know if you are using hardware but it sounded like you had a latency issue there ? or maybe its your compression on the kick , maybe you should have posted for feedback before you got this pressed, anyway good luck on selling em..

Don't like either track to be honest mate. And I do like hard trance.

There's just no continuity or flow to either of them, everything just sounds really random.

Good luck with the label though dudethumbsup

Music Style loads of stuff.

had a listen to the A side i think it was. very obscure sounding, not much trance element in there. its not so much that you lacked production quality, although it wasnt good enough to be released IMO. It was the main ideas of the tune that lacked. did sound horrible for me and I couldnt see anyone really dancing to it which is what its all about.

sorry mate, just being honest but i'd get back to the drawing board.smilethumbsup
