Why you putting full tracks on Youtube???

 

Vinyl fair enough, but mp3's?? Im sure ive just seen Quality Control on there..only been out  a few months.

seen 2 of mine on too, doesnt matter who's they are its out of order, especially new one's. Karim's remix of dreams up there too.

You guys are seriously getting miffed about music being promoted without anybody having to lift a finger??? It's youtube ffs!!!

Im not miffed i was asking a question..sorry...didnt realise putting full tracks on youtube that can be ripped off there, after tunes have come out, is regarded as promotion. Now i know

I dont think many producers care. Its Gaz who is crying about it even though he says he is not arsed about it. He is just worried about his few sales. If one person rips it there goes 20% of his total sales.

Ya that must be it. Dickhead. For your information, a producer kicked off on facebook about it, who doesnt know who Jamie is, therefore i was asking why he does it. Just so you know seeing your so important.

I say well done to Jamie, it takes a lot of work to do what he did and the songs are 128ish and unrippable. The more music out there the better for the scene IMO.

Perhaps even go on to say the best hard house archive on the net is Jamie's Youtube channel.

im pretty sure no one does this, if they do they are stupid as the sound quailty is soo bad

Im a fan,like above I went & bought tracks after hearing on there I wouldnt have/havent heard of before.

It's a promotion if anything. Yeah I suppose he could make them into clips but what DJ that's plays out or not would be happy with that sound quality? Fair play to Jamie, about time more HH was put up on youtube, must take up a lot of time!

I got nothing against my tracks being put up on youtube as long as there they are crap quality and a link to buy the full track, I do think mind it would be nice to ask, apart from that I'm all good from me. One of the biggest D&B youtube channel UKF playing just D&B and Dubstep just got their youtube channel brought out by Drum&Bass Arena as they had so many subscribers to that channel D&B Arena saw it as a massive mailing list for them, brought the channel for a good amount too so I heard. 

Its been going on for few years gaz, all the old trade tracks, old tinrib, karim, dynamic intervention tracks on there and more etc with youtube its mostly done out of respect whereas its pretty shite when you find some of your tracks uploaded on every stinking dirty pirate site in google search imo  have had that happen once or twice and all you can do is think thats what the current state of the music industry is
