EDIT : Also what do you think should be left alone ( hard to beat origional) and what did you used to think should have been left alone but loved the revamp of ?

I fully agree with Alex. When you say 'bring up to date', am I right in thinking that you basically want the same track, but with a harder kick and Dave Owens-style bassline? laughing

This, there are soo many tracks from other styles you could do, making a carbon copy of a remix is the worst lol, valex seems to be good at that!

if you could update the "Acccciiiiiddddd, acccciiiiidddd" can't remember whats it called, its a good track but at about 120bpm far too slow.

Would also like a techno version of Lost in Love, best I heard was the sysex mix but its a little on the trancy side.

You're right mate there is nothing wrong with the original its an awesome track. I however would like to see what a different mix of it would sound like. Be perfectly honest and say have you heard any of the old alien trax releases played out recently? Hopefully these new mixes will get a few more people into them and they can search out the old tracks.

The high range of this track always struck me as sounding horrible, I assumed it was just a dodgy pressing so bought a digi copy as well, but it still sounds the same there. Could definitely do with a few tweaks imo, so I hope they don't just re-release the original master alongside the remix... (and I can't think of many more people I'd rather have remixing it than Ilogik!!!)

I went to a acid techno event at halloween, considering I haven't brought any tunes in 6 years, and I could name more than 50% of the tunes that were played as tunes I owned.

Proof that good tunes are timeless, they were still destroying the dancefloor as well, and the majority of punters would have been no the wiser that they were 'avin it to a tune that was made in 2000.

Defo. Others include;

Reformation II (it took ages for me to find this pressing with the OD404 remix, and the original sounds loads better than the picture disk. What a tune!)
