To be honest, I don't see why you lot moan when someone else - me in this instance - points out that it's a good thing that this particular person has decided to take the trouble to learn to produce, as opposed to paying someone to do it for them. 

If more of you did this, there would be a lot more diversity between all of your work.  It's not rocket-science

And if there wasnt the 'others' doing it their way, you'd lose 85 percent of the tracks that come out. Its not rocket science. Infact maybe more as most engineers might have to find a daytime job then and not have anywhere near as much times to produce. Its not rocket science

If more 'producers' actually learnt to produce, instead of paying one of a handful of engineers to make tracks for them, there would be a far more diverse and eclectic range of hard dance music available.
