Sony souldnt be in the same sentence as technics, awful headphones..

Sennys seem to be the main choice for DJ's but I'm just stating iv never had one single problem with technics. nothing falling off or replacing things.

All i hear from people with HD25's is 'replacing this & that' fs read the signs, get technics, I'v had mine years and havent replaced a thing, tanks.

the 1210's are small, strong & loud, and you wont trip over you're own lead lol.

What ones? If you mean these then i reckon they are up there with the worst phones ive ever used. After years of using HDJ1000s n using a friends pair of them they were fucking horrible. So mid rangy it almost hurt my ears n absolutely no bass response at all from what i can remember. I hated them so much that when we went b2b i had to change headphones for my mix cus i just hated them so much.Thought they were horrendous.

Why not just go to a electronics shop with headphones for demo???

Everybody is different, and no matter how 'sturdy' kit is or flimsy, if you look after it, it will last. People prefer different things....

However, as far as sound quality goes, the senny's are spot on, however they produce quite a lot of pressure even at low volume, and used to give me fatigue after a while, whereas I can wear my beyer dynamics for hours and have no ringing in my ears what so ever (although these are studio headphones).

Try for yourself mate thumbsup

HD25 for me, wouldn't have anything else! I've mixed with others at house parties etc but none come close in my opinion, fit nice and snug on my head & the sound from them is pukka! thumbsupthumbsup plus i've had them about 8-9 years now and still good as new!

Technics for me, I don't get on with the Senns personally, too lightweight, I like to know I'm wearin my phones. Had the same battered pair for about 9 years and they just keep working thumbsup
As for the Sony's, horrible plasticy shit, wouldn't even buy em for home use tosser

anyone tried Allen & Heath? Very wide frequency range (5-33khz) and reviews say they are more durable/comfortable than technics/pioneers. only real downside i've read about is the looseness if you have a small head
