I completely agree with norris and mooshoo on this one. The occupy movement has clear goals which we must not loose sight of.
I do hope there are no riots as this will completely negate its purpose.
I want to be free and not just have the illusion of being free.
I support the view aswell, our lives are bound by the contract we make when we sign up to be a goverment agent with our N.I. number, when we do that we agree to the terms and conditions of THAT contract, problem is that full disclosure of THAT contract is not given at the time and as such is void, we sign it because 'thats what you do'. After that every time you put a signature to paper you confirm that contract acting as a member of the law society, whose rules and language are not made readily available. Thats why 'law' is unfair, its not, you contracted to it without knowing it, ignorance of the law is no defence in case.
Who is the government? If you say its a political rep then you dont know law. YOU are the government, WE are the government. The heads are our representatives, OUR SERVANTS, they are supposed to represent our needs, our needs are not being met, our reps are using the collective power we gave them to cuase discord with other nations and to unhinge ourselves with mis information about enemies that never hurt a soul in our homelands. We let these people unhinge us and create problems for natural human beings with no desire but to live free of yoke.
You who propose rubber bullets will see a time reflected upon yourselves, it will not be long before hardship reaches the middle class, the divide does not see your merit.
So perhaps this year protest will not make much difference(I actually think it wil,l as Niel and Norris predict)but next year there is no doubt. After the students come the workers, when the workers protest students will follow and many more besides.
Interesting times are coming regardless of any of that.
