I still think that even though the outcomes are predetermined and the matches have arranged routines. I still think they are all amazing atheletes who risk a lot for entertainment.
I also like John Cena who has gone into movies through this, can't understand why people don't like him, hes a better role model than most footballers.
They are proper altheletes no question. Look at people like Brock Lesnar (was the UFC champion), Kurt Angle (Olympic wrestler) etc.
Ive actually been to see WWE years ago, I used to love it as a kid. Ive seen Lesnar wrestle live in the WWE and watched him fight in the UFC.
Same here, although I wasn't actually a kid at the time (once when I was 17, and once when i was 18

). It was at the time when WWF was going head-to-head with ECW before they bought it out so there was lots of good matches i.e. Hell in a Cell, TLC etc. Saw it at Earl's Court then again at Wembley Arena.
I must admit I really do like 'proper' wrestling, although not the shite WWE has turned into now. WWE / ECW circa 2000 / 2003 was my cup of tea (although not the really bloody barb wire matches, they were just stupid). Used to hire all the Pay-per-views from Blockbuster on VHS or buy them / copy them / take them back when you could still do that at HMV.
Still have a load of ECW 'best of' matches on DVD which get brought out usually when pissed after the pub. Started watching TNA wrestling around 2008 when they had the 6-sided ring and got back into it again for a bit but never bother with that since Hulk Hogan / Rik Flair made it shite.
