Pearce will do the euros then redknapp after.

The only reason Harry may not take it is the premier league. I know he said it's a hard job to turn down if offered but that was before Spurs have become a credible team to win the league maybe not this season but next. And what would be better for him winning the premier league or managing lets face it a bunch of players that have let us down again and again

Harry won't go with what he's done/doing at Tottenham. I think he'll stay at spurs another few years then maybe take the job if offered at that time.

Psycho is the perfect candidate other than Harry. He has done a brilliant job with the U21's and would fit the role perfectly.

About time we had a passionate Englishman managing the England team!!

Martin O'Neill was asked last night if he'd take the job... he didn't say no, he just said Harry is the perfect man for the job.

He'd be a fantastic candidate too IMO.

The only foreign manager that people wouldn't moan about is Mourinho. He'd be brilliant. But we still want an English bloke lol

For all those people saying 'give Pearce a go' - he is tactically inept, look to the U21 tournaments he has taken charge of for evidence of that.

I could have swore the U21's have been doing better under him than they have done under the past few managers.

Fergie has near 60% over 1400+ games in charge of one of the worlds biggest clubs.

I remember United before that and when they were struggling initially under him.  In fact at one point Venks he was close to the sack, it was thought that if they got knocked out of the FA Cup by us that was it.  They won 1-0 and I can recall we equalised late on as well but got it very harshly ruled out for offside due to one of players lying injured.  It's funny how these things work out because he has turned out to be really well suited to United, nowadays I recon he would have been sacked a while before that point.

My first away game was actually at Old Trafford, we had tickets within the home supporters as couldn't get them with the travelling fans as it was sold out.  Ron Atkinson was in charge of you lot I think and although there was an iffy penalty to you lot we won 3-2 at the death after only equalising a few minutes before.  I digress but we used to get some decent results against you lot, even under Fergie
