record packaging

hi! u know when u order a tune online and it arrives in one of those cardboard packs/envelope type things........?? u know.

well i need to order a load (i am selling my tunes very soon) and have run out of packaging....

any ideas where i can order from on the net? uk based.

www.htfr.com sell em mate, but i dunno how expensive they are compared to other places. But thats the only place i know...

HTFR are expensive really. i picked mine up off a very kind online record store

 

try google-ing it lots come up just no really looked through many. Should be 20-25p each i reckon!

or a cheap and cheerful way is to cut out a sheet of cardboard from a  box lets say and put it with ur record, then just rap with brown paper. you will find that sending a record with the cardboard ones you can buy, will roughly be around £1.30 while if u make it urself it costs £1.01, all addes up if ur selling alot of tunes!!
you would be surprised how strong the cardboard actually is.

That seems like quite a bit of effort though

I've said it b4 and I'll say it again...

Just go round all yer local dance traders and ask for vinyl mailers. I generally get 4 or so out of each of em (and in brighton, that adds up kinda quick...) before they start thinking it's cheeky
