Its just the feeling that everything that they do is profit motivated. Not done because of their love for the scene but because they can make loads of cash of it. That and the fact that the vast majority of their releases are cheese on toast.

Id say the same . . . but when you think about it, when you have the big labels like Tidy introducing so many guns into the scene, you can progress further into more underground things.

Everyone's gotta start somewhere if you know what I mean biggrin

how true is that

plus there big headed wankers and lets face it theyre ripping off the scene and making it into something its not!

i own a lot of tidy releases but im proud that over 70% of those i have on the original label they came out on!

their sound is the same over and over, their old stuff is among the best hardhouse has to offer, their untidy label is excellent although im doubting their next release for it..

i think their doing the scene good overall, they put on ace events as well thumbsup

one thing i don't like is the attitude of the majority of their supporters, its quite elitist and sycophantish, apart from that i think tidy are good smile

Quite like Tidy Trax, don't buy everything that they release but they're a good label overall imho.

Don't see the point in slating them, there are far worse things in this world to centre your dislike on. thumbsdown

coming on strong
mr bump
funky groove
what would you like to hear again
hoovertime
colours ep
do it now

jesus christ, where would we be with out these? the list is endless, true.... they are a bit colour by numbers now, but you cant slate them for what they have done to this scene, they helped it grow in a major way,

yeah, they generate a lot of money..... but they put a hell of a lot back into the scene, i'm glad they are keeping their heads firmly above the water whilst other labels are sinking, fair play to em beer

I have to agree with Flymo on this one.  I still buy an occasional release of theirs, all of it isn't shit.  I recently bought Tales From The Crypt which I think is excellent and also some of Nick Rowlands new stuff is pretty good.  Yeah, they have a lot of releases that don't apeal to me but for it seems they branched off into several different labels to reach diffferent tastes.  I also like the Untidy Series a lot and still do. I am anxious to hear the new Untidy stuff. I also think their "in house" producers like Colin, Ingo and Maddox are really talented at what they do. Fair game to them. Like I said, I don't hate tidy, I just don't like the majority of their releases as they don't apeal to me but some of their stuff is decent and like Flymo also stated, they have done so much for the scene to make it grow in the early years and still are today.  I do think the tidy stuffed bunnies are really ghey tho....madtongue

I must say a lot of Tidy releases are milked over here because the uplifting hardtrance sounds from the U.K. are real popular over here... and unless we order on the net, we don't get a lot of underground filthy stuff as you do. And it's not really well recieved anyway...
