My sis told me once that when she visited a friend down devon way, she went to a pub that sold cider in half pints and thats it, and no more than 2 pints as it would knock ya into tomorrow...... apparently

haha i got a taxi home a few weeks back from my mates and got told a very similar story by the driver!! He said it had thick lumps in it of apple and was the nicest drink he'd tried!!

Nicest cider Ive ever had was from a little farm in Sidmouth, Devon... Sweet ,clear and about 8%.. Best bit was getting 2 gallons for a tenner... 

my cider bashing day's are well over  i remember drinking 2 litres every weekend on a empty stomach

and then having the fun of bringing it all back up.

Yeah well i was the same, week in week out drinking on the streets, was always merrydown or white lightning!! I went off it bigstyle but lately im really liking it!!

Yep i only drink cider nowadays.Brew me own scrumpy aswel.Cant beat adding a few shrooms in the brewing process to give it a lil hallucinegenic effect

As for general cider,like the most of you,Strongbow and Scrumpy Jack are my favs,sometimes Blackthorn but if you can find it on tap you cant beat a pint of Stowford Press cider.It's beautiful.Sits smack bang in the middle of a medium cider with a proper scrumpy taste.Crushed ice in the bottom of your glass first and pour over,Beeeeaautiful.

True, too much cider turns the old stools to slush.
