Right, I've decided to give Reason the boot altogether and go entirely into Cubase but a very large portion of my Perc samples are in Refill format.  What i want to know is, can i convert my Refills to wav or am i gonna have the most ridiculous task of exporting them all via Rewire.  Please say that i can convert them as just one folder in my Superdrums Refill has over 2000 bass drum samples and the other 20 or so folders have got stupid amounts of samples in also!!!!

Cheers lads (and laddettes maybewink)thumbsupthumbsup

i think cdxtract will only convert wav to refill, but at the mo no software will be able do it only reason... so if you want them you're gonna have to load em up and export them that way... i think it has something to do with propeller heads copyright too, but the refills are like zipped up wavs but use some code in the software to unlock them also... seen this many a times just wish there was a way... although with cdxtact5 on the way there was talk bout them getting some sort of permission to do it.

I find a need for this a lot, we could do with some reason head writing a nifty little shareware utility...

You know you can rewire reason into cubase can ditch the mixer in reason and hook up the REX player and ReDrum staight into cubases mixer?? thats what i doo and u get the best of both worlds... it means u can use all ur refills in cubase without having to export anything

just an idea smile

Tho there is a program somewhere, i forget the name but u can make ur own refill packs so im guessing u can reverse the process with the same program??  Might even come on the reason CDpistols
