i have bougth some stuff, but tent to play it way pitched down with other hard/club techno. its a very hard sound - so its nice to hear the clank at a slower pitch.
as for mixing it normally - i have done for my own amusment, but thats it! if you like mixing high bpm music and understand the pattern in which the chewn is made just mix away, i'd say that the sets i've heard "live" have relied on heavy usage of bass cutting, just plain simple b/line switches at the needed point, but theres so much going on that a 1minitue mix is more than adequate, jsut mix throught the chewn quicker to keep it changing - don't need to nessacerley play the whole 5mins of one track..
