Studio looks awesome Dave, would love to have mine looking similar in a few years.

How did you realise you wanted the speakers there? Did it take long to adjust to them been so wide?

I was thinking that too.

And i want 4 monitors (LCD) setup as well! Only got the three...would def benefit from the four.

Are them controllers under the monitors a bit far from you?

There are actually 6 speakers in the room. The two Alesis to the sides, and two hi fi style stereo speakers at the front, they look like plain black boxes in the picture. I had the Alesis there, but the distance apart and from my head caused some wierd phase cancelling sound where everything sounded hollow. So I moved the Alesis to the sides for the clarity, the hi speakers to the front to balance the sound, and there's two massive freestanding stereo speakers underneath the desk facing up that covers the real bottom end sound to the room.

Haha nah, the studio must look deceptively big in those pictures, I can easily reach the back of the controllers from where I'm sat. Maybe it's just my monkey arms. looking

Had a bit of a re-arrange the other week - rewired everything, had a good clean and moved a few things around. Got all the keyboards racked up on the wall now.

Loving the 4-screens Dave - looks like it ought to be called "the bridge"! What do you actually put on the top ones though?

Haha cheers Paul. USS TurtleDog.

The top left one has the mixer window, top right one has the matrix (piano) editor. Bottom left has the main arrange, and the bottom right has Live, or a stretched out version of the main arrange if I'm not using Live anymore.

Here's my set up back in feb with my Yamaha an1x just out of shot to the left, not a lot's changed apart from the small controller's now a photon x25. Main synth is an access virus running on a powercore card, PC's connected to the o1v desk via a RME hammerfall ADAT card.

thumbsup looks like my first bedroom setup (I obviously had old gear then - 1990!)....this is how i like it....all crammed together in easy reach! biggrin

I now want a setup similar with LCD screens, smaller desk, powerful PC with powercore!.

If i can just get rid of the old setup i can start a fresh biggrin

...by the way! love the speak-and-spell on the wall! Awsome! thumbsup

my old setup 1990:

The old Atari STE setup with Midex & cubase V2, alesis 1622 monolithic desk! And home made monitors!
The keyboard was a Casio HT3000!!
