"Ladder 15, we've got two isolated pockets of fire.
We should be able to knock it down with two lines."
Fire big enough to put out with two hoses melted the wtc to its knees. Not only that, seven minutes prior to the collapse, a senior firefighter was so confident of the building's structure that he
1) Was on the 78th floor
2) Formulated a plan to put out the fire
3) Called for equipment and reinforcements
Not exactly the thing you do to a teetering inferno.
