AFTERMATH- OPERATION GREEN ICE

Missed it but grabbed the mp3 fo sho. Love that track. I'm sure James and Nick don't wanna hear this, but I think it's a defining sound for Aftermath. That was the first track that I heard that had their trademark deep bassline. Fell in love almost instantly.

Trademark bassline for me was the NRG remix of Bodyrock on Jp & Jukesy's mix from about 2003. It's still sounds wicked when it drops in evertime I hear it.

this tune really is mint, i hand on heart can say i'd be willing to pay silly ammounts for this on vinyl, James if you're watching are you sure you don't want to release this on a label, i think you'd make a killing

him and Nick Irwin were supposed to be updating it but not sure if they did... i know that if it was updated (even though its fine as it it) it would be signed right away... i know a few labels would take it

they've decided not too

we did try ages ago, but it's really hard going back to an old tune to try & update it, esp when you both moved on in terms of sounds & production etc.

I think it's better to leave to old tracks in the past & try and come up with some new fresh material. (obviously there can be exceptions to the rule)

Can anyone re-post it? I have been listening to your early stuff a lot lately. Good stuff.
