TR-909 OR MC-505

I'm after finding someone selling both of these but I don't know which one to buy. Which would be the better one to buy??? Do you think.

Now we are talking about the famous TR-909 drum machine and not the MC 909 groove box right?

Then get the TR-909, if they are both the Roland Groove boxes then pass on both as you can get much better kit in soft synths at a fractionh of the cost.

Well fuck the the groovebox then. I'll buy the 909 then.

Another quick question. If i were too buy a piece of equipment from america would it work over here in ireland. I think they use a different power connection.

you just need an adapter....google it "US to Europe power converter adapters" or something like that.

personally i wouldent bother buying a  secondhand 909 ,there antiques these day ,if yu spending a grand yu want something new , have a look at the machinedrum by elektron, the machine drum is supossed to be one of the best drum machines out there at the min? , a lot of hardware heds will vouch for this rather than yu basic 909......... but the machine drum does coma at a hefty price , but still its new!!!!!! jomox make some wicked drum machines , ive got the airbass , does stuff the 909 will never be able to do!!  as for the mc 505 , thats more of a toy, most vst's will replicate that easily , the thing is digital anyway.........
