i think it ws the only one not to, i saw this go on ebay for nearly hundred squid, cant remember exact figure

your best bet is when it comes up as part of a job lot on ebay. i see it come up quite often and it doesn't go for silly money if it doesn't show up when searching the site for a single tune. just means you got to keep 'em peeled.

True. A lot of people own rare records not realising they are rare, then when they come to selling their decks / tunes its quicker to just put them on as a job lot. Good idea to keep a look out. screwu

Ive been waiting for D6 for a while too

I always find though if u just wait one will turn up at the right price somehow or someones up for a swap - just gota be patient - got most big tunes i wanted and not paid over £8 for anything thumbsup

i know this mate, i am a collector. but the most i paid for a tune was 60 for a copy of central rock- el ritmo de la musica all inclusive from spain. now bearing in mind that there were only 500 of these and they were issued over in spain, i think that this was a bargain. 70 quid for d6 on the other hand is fucking ridiculous. the tune recieved a full release and you can always find copies on either ebay or discogs going for 20 quid or thereabouts so 70 is a bit excessive mate. if youve got money to burn though, then fair enough...

I'm not trying to start anything, but I don't think anyone really has the right to slag someone because they want a tune badly and are willing to pay a high price to get a copy, there is 1 record I will happily pay £100 for, but I don't think I will ever find a copy.

silly people with more money than sense spoiling things for the rest of us. these tunes are NOT RARE - how can they be when they are a couple of years old? fair enough you may have to shop around for a month or two but £70 just isn't justified for tunes that never had a "limited" run in the first place thumbsdown

that's a lot harder to get hold of in mint condition than any normal run dance tune.

the only dance tunes that should command high prices are ones with ultra limited runs (ie OGI - although i don't rate that, but that's not the point) and original acetates

If someone likes a tune and feels is worth whatever then that's their decision. The value of a record is relative to how much a person wants/likes it.

What I don't understand is people who buy records just because they are rare. Sometimes without even knowing what they sound like. What's the point in having a record as some sort of trophy?? eyesup I think certain people just look out for when someone says a tune is good/rare then buy it blindly so they can show off. yawn
