WOW! That's a great stat to know. I had no idea the post was so poor there. As mean as the post people can be here in the States, they generally do a great job in delivery and are cheap too.

That's really bad at 7% error. Sorry to hear that.

to illustrate that point a news program in the UK (tonight with trevor macdonald) conducted an experiment following a complaint from someone who makes their living as a music and dvd critic. he was saying that loads of his packages never arrive. they sent 50 parcels of cds or dvds to him, 8 never arrived. he said that was good going by his usual delivery ratethumbsdown

Avoid zenzen, has put in a paypal claim after 6 days from record being posted, fair enough it might not have arrived but he's not exactly given it time.

In regards to your statment against me xit, I am looking to take this further with the sites admin. You have put my name on the site and also blackended my name when all I have done is buy and pay for a record from you!

You did not mention to those reading this thread that I paid for the record from you via Paypal on the 20th of December 2006. I opened the dispute as I havent received anything. You then are asking me to wait a further 15 days so I can log the record lost with Royal Mail. I opened the dispute you are questioning, fully within Paypals policies and procedures and if I did have the record I wouldnt have opened a dispute in the first place. I bought a few other records from other members off here and they arrived without any problem.

What you should also take into account is that it's been 6 days since I posted it, and I explained why that was and you were fine with it. I've had records turn up 2 weeks after they've been posted before, you should have usaed your common sense and realised I'm a trustworthy seller on this board and ebay and I've never let anyone down on here. So I would have unquestioningly refund your money had the record not turned up in the royal mails stated delivery time.

Jumping in with paypal claims doesn't really help matters.

"From xit What you should also take into account is that it's been 6 days since I posted it, and I explained why that was and you were fine with it."

Mate, I do not know where you got this from as the first word I got from you over the Christmas period after I paid on the 20th of December via Paypal was on the 2nd of January when you sent the following...

"From xit Sent Jan 2 2007 - 3:14 - Hi mate, I'm back home now, just getting everything packed and ready to post, can I have your addy to save me going through my paypal history?"

I sent the information you requested, i.e. my address and waited and I am still waiting.

I really am offended by your overall attitude as I am the one who is out of pocket here and have nothing to show for it, all I did was pay you for something I havent received then you complain about me wondering where the record is?

I paid you £2.50 for first class post, I am in the UK and you are telling me it may take up to 2 weeks to arrive?

On the same day I purchased other records from other members on this forum, Bert being one (thankyou Bert for that). I received the record he posted, Avaline - Never Sever, two days later and that was on the mouth of Christmas.

In regards to Royal Mails stated delivery time mate, I am unsure where it exactly states up to two weeks for first class post to arrive.

1) First class post was never mentioned, I send everything 2nd class

2) http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/jump3?catId=400144&mediaId=15500181

read down the page and bingo! the 15 days delivery statement.

3) I have been going to the post office 2-6 times a week all year (2006) I had a couple of weeks off for the first time in over a year, I'm pretty damn sure I told you there would be a delay due to this. I told all my other buyers and not one person had a problem with it. Also you say the message asking for your address was sent on the 2nd which is true, however you didn't reply till the 8th and then I posted the record straight away on the 9th.

I'm sorry it hasn't arrived but I really don't see why your getting so offended by me asking you to wait until it's classed as lost by the royal mail. I would have replaced it as I have another copy or refunded you no questions asked at that point (without you opening a paypal claim). This has all come around because you for some bizzare reason think what I'm asking is unreasonable? Your the first person who's had a problem with that and I hope to god the last as all this could have been avoided.

I'm not trying to take your money or get out of giving you a refund, I just want you to give it the 15 days royal mail state first, is that such a terrible thing?

thanks for the positive feedback morbz, xit and zenzen.

with regards to the latest postings... zenzen is a top trader and xit also but tbh i think if zenzen paid on the 20th of december anyone would really expect to have received by now and i can understand his worry. both you lads are trustworthy and honest so you should be able to sort this out i hope without the intervention from the likes of me. i would suggest you wait until the 15 days then contact xit to resolve otherwise you will have to file a dispute and you would be quite right to do so. good luck sorting it out man.

Further to your previous posting 3) I proceeded to open this dispute as Paypal give you a window from payment sent to when you first file a dispute notice, I paid on the 20th of December and at that time you took my money and did not mention anything to me about taking a few weeks off, this I can assure you, just the price you where looking £5 and postage costs of £2.50. I have all the PM's you have sent to me from the first time you replied to a record I was looking.

You have also stated that I have filed a claim against you, I have not opened a claim yet with Paypal, I have 20 more days to do this, only a dispute which I am eligable to do as I havent received anything from you in almost 30 days.

In regards to opening a dispute, that is my right under Paypals policies so I do not know why you proceeded in putting my name on the forum as a bad buyer. Can you explain exactly to everyone reading this what I have done so wrong for you to start all of this off? Apart from paying you for goods I havent received.

It's a little hypocritical to be honest that you started this thread to unearth bad traders in the first place and now you are trying to turn the cards on me and blacken my name, who really is out of pocket here?? Still nothing in todays post either.

You asked why I was and still am offended by all of this... well you where the one who started posting about me on the forum, I did not ask for my name or anything to by tranished by all of this, any problems should have been dealt with via PM's, but you decided to make me out to be a bad buyer here and comment about me on a forum, so yes I am offended and annoyed, who wouldnt be.

One last thing, you stated above... Your the first person who's had a problem with that and I hope to god the last as all this could have been avoided.

Why does your feeedback on eBay from the 23rd of December state differently...

Feedback from a buyer: Goods not received, seller refused refund, had to claim from paypal. Very poor!
Reply by xit2nowhere: I asked buyer to wait until I claimed from PO, never refused a refund.
Feedback from a buyer: 3+ months wait for £7.99 is a bit petty and not a good way to run a business.:o(

The scenario sounds familiar..... I rest my case.

I'm sick of repeating myself, you seem very good at avoiding what I ask you.

r.e. the person on ebay, why bring that up? 1) nothing to do with trading on this forum 2) 1 complaint of that nature out of 1657? hardly worth mentioning really is it.

so do you want a replacement sent or a refund? just make your mind up.
